Before buying your home or investment property have thought about adding sewer pipe inspection or are you just hoping your sewer pipes fine? Several things can cause a blockage in the sewer line:
- Partial Clog vs Full clog sewer Line; Partial clog is a slow drain and take months or the first time you have company in for a visit. A full clog sewer is a plugged sewer drain.
- Bellies; Can happen with a new build home or overtime the sewer pipe can settle or be pushed down in an area causing water and waste to pool or get stuck.
- Root intrusion; Yours or your neighbor tree roots can slowly grow into the line causing breakage or clogged sewer pipe.
- Line Breakage; Can be caused by a heavy vehicle driving over sewer pips or overtime old clay pipes, cast iron pipes can deteriorate or break allows debris to seep into the line causing a blockage.
Since sewer lines are buried in the ground, it is hard to see the problem without digging up the entire line.
